It’s not what you think. Sure it exploits every single pixel in all it’s 1080p glory on my 50″ plasma, but it also streams Netflix. Netflix streaming is quite possibly the greatest thing to happen to TV since HD. I realize that’s not a long time, but the TV world has had many great invention (color, cable, LCD, Plasma, Brandsmart, just to name a few.) Hey look Letterman is on, be back later….
“If chrome is ported to other OS’s and nobody uses it, is it really a browser?”
I’m sure most of the techies will use this, but honestly, who cares. Chrome sucks, it doesn’t have the features firefox has and it doesn’t work on all the websites firefox does. Even if I could get past that, it doesn’t offer security to protect your passwords. I’m amazed that google brought chrome out of beta in like 4 nano seconds, yet GMail has carried its beta status proudly since the day it was born. Don’t get me wrong, I like google, heck I use just about every service they offer. But sometimes, they should stick to what they do best, web services.

I’m a fan of Google Chrome and I like where it’s headed. But I can’t stop switching back to Firefox. There’s always something that sends me back. Tonight Chrome made some progress back to my heart. I tried the new Chrome 2 beta, wow. I like it. My favorite new feature after just a few minutes is the new side by side view. Have a look at the image I took and the video by google.

Twitter has exploded. Not literally like so many techies would like it to. But I think once Oprah enters the ring, it’s safe to say a medium has exploded. For those techies who are moaning that the celebs have joined the party, I’ve got a great solution for you. Don’t follow them. Now, was that difficult. I think not. Make Twitter work for you, follow who you want to follow and be happy.

It’s on Ebay, so I’m calling it tech. WTF!! I was talking about buying used RAM on ebay, and my coworker mentioned “Isn’t that like buying a used toothbrush?” I didn’t think so, but it gave me an idea. I checked, and sure enough someone is selling a used toothbrush, only used once! I’m watching it just to see if it gets purchased. Who is nutty enough to want to buy this crap!
Used toothbrush!
This guy must be quite lonely, I can’t imagine there are many folks out there with good words about WindowsME. I imagine for the few who had their system work longer than 30 minutes, they may have had a chance to use these features. I, however, choose to forget I ever installed it…. but I think I still have the install disc. crapiness rating 4/10 turds.

Here’s our government wasting tax dollars. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE puts $5 to $20 on an office pool. It’s f’ing harmless. People who won’t gamble on any thing will put down $5 just to have fun in the office watching the clueless, nonathletic types somehow create a winning bracket. Worry about the violent crimes, not the absolutely harmless office pools. Crappyness rating: 8/10 turds.

Hmm… I guess I should agree with this article, seeing as it’s quite true. I wouldn’t be writing this if it weren’t for the net.
